Job Description:

Primary areas of expertise required include steel and concrete structures, equipment platforms and pipe racks, equipment foundations; round and rectangular concrete tanks, etc. Duties will also include developing concepts, designs, models and drawings while working with project teams or individually. Project load will include control rooms, chemical facilities, and other industrial installations. Knowledge with 3-D Models in AutoCAD, Cadworx Plan, and Cadworx Equipment is a must. Duties involve interfacing with customers to discuss design requirements and specifications; analyzing and checking other team member sketches, drawings, specifications and related data to determine design factors and requirements. Position requires the ability to expedite and multi-task between multiple projects. Must be capable of managing teams of other designers and CADD staff to meet established schedule and budgets.
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess a proactive attitude to project execution. Good verbal and written communication skills are required to ensure effective communication and interface with clients and other project team members. Good organizational and documentation skills are needed along with the ability to work under deadline pressures. The candidate should have demonstrated a commitment to continued learning and education through participation in internal and / or external training opportunities.
