Job Title:	Piping Designer, Engineering Division

Job Description:	Project load will include obtaining accurate field measurements and sketches for the generation of piping plans and Isometrics. Full knowledge of Cadworx Plan and Cadworx Equipment is a must. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess a proactive attitude to project execution. Good verbal and written communication skills are required to ensure effective communication and interface with clients and other project team members. Good organizational and documentation skills are needed along with the ability to work under deadline pressures. The candidate should have demonstrated a commitment to continued learning and education through participation in internal and / or external training opportunities.
Experience:	Minimum of 6 years of design experience of Piping Design, Layout, Constructing and Rendering 3-D Models with AutoCAD, building symbol library with attributes to generate P & IDs, piping plans, Isometrics, and material take offs.
Education:	High school diploma or GED is required. Consideration given for related higher education or technical training.

Job Description:	Perform calculations and understand documents such as PFD's, equipment cut sheets and specification, and P&ID's. Will work with both computer aided programs and manual design techniques. Detail design work includes: develop equipment specifications, document development, equipment sizing and rating, materials selection, checking of manufacturer's drawings and data for compliance with specifications, review piping and layout drawings, assist in preparing cost estimates, provide functional guidance to designers/developers, assist in proposal writing, and report progress against schedules milestones.
